Paul Chehade - Make Lobbying (also Lobby) Illegal.

Lobbying (also Lobby) sounds illegal to me and others. Corporations DO NOT vote so how is it they hire most of the lobbyist? Just because they have the means and money to hire lobbyist they then have the means to induce politicians to be in their favor for upcoming laws and regulations. When many times these purposed laws and regulations are in direct contradiction to the common good.

The professional politicians in Washington DC are out of touch with America and average American. It's time WE take back America for American's. They will not be happy until they send the last American job to China and through CAP & TRADE they also plan to raise your GAS TAXES by 15% to 25% they plan on raising your home & small business electrical bill to 25% and to raise your home & small business heating gas by 25%. Can YOU afford a 50% increase in your home energy bill? Can you afford to pay the extra for gas for your car?

IF NOT, it's time to TAKE BACK AMERICA. We don't care if they are a Democrats, Republicans, we will support anyone who agrees with our ideals and goals. America for American's - Everyone Else Can Go Home!

Lobbying (also Lobby) is suppose to be illegal for foreign governments to hire lobbyist and try to influence our politicians. This law needs to be strengthened with stiffer penalties. Foreign governments have NO business in our domestic affairs period. ANY politician who takes any form of contributions from foreign governments or entities should go to jail for a LONG time and be permanently banned from any politics or holding any government office, wither one that is voted/elected or appointed. Likewise any lobbyist who represents a foreign government or entity should also go to jail for a long, long time.

It is the act of attempting to influence decisions made by officials in the government by individuals, other legislators or government actors, constituents, or advocacy groups.

There is one simple reason why Congress can't get up the gumption to deal with lobbying. It is self-interested, and lobbyists serve that self-interest.

The only way to deal with corporate lobbying is to outlaw it, and the only way we can do that is if the citizens of each state engage in anti-lobbyist referendums, preventing their local corporations from setting up shop in Washington.

Until then, we get the government we deserve: by the corporations, for the corporations and of the corporations, who rule over us like medieval monarchs.

An Example:
Say an auto parts store had a "lobbyist" who talked or bribed the owner into buying his parts exclusively and promised all kinds of kick backs, bribes gifts of cash and goods etc. The local District Attorney's office would jump all over this. Unfair trade practices, the kick backs, bribes not to mention the cash and gifts to influence the business owner. Unfair competition etc. etc…

Then why is it OK for politicians to accept, cash, gifts, goods etc. from lobbyist? Everyone seems to think there is nothing wrong with this and everyone seems to think this is business as usual.

I DON'T THINK SO.
Let's start a crusade to end the powerful lobbyist movement in State & Federal government and return control back to the people (who do vote by the way).

IF you are a politician and this offends you, I am sorry for you. But in all honesty you have to ask yourself just who do you represent, the people or your special interests who hired the lobbyist to influence you? Unfortunately when you are in this boat (working for special interests/lobbyists), you are NOT working for the people and you DO NOT have their best interest at heart, no matter what you say.

I hope you see this my way and join me. Contact your local state representatives and your federal representatives and send them this message: If you take special interest money we will vote you out or you can join us and help make lobbying illegal as it should be. You can send this as an Email or print it out with your name and address and mail a copy to your representatives. They are always saying how they want to hear from you and to voice your opinion, now's the time to let it be heard. With hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars changing hands in back room deals this is the only way we can keep everyone honest.

God bless America

Paul Chehade - Symbolic rebuke to President Obama over immigration. Where are we heading? What is our future?

Emboldened House Republicans issued a stern but symbolic rebuke to President Barack Obama over immigration Thursday, passing a bill declaring his executive actions to curb deportations "null and void and without legal effect."

Our nation has been traditionally headed by two political groups, the Democrats and the Republicans. In light of this political failure, what will the future bring to the American people and coming generations? What are the expectations to live a life with dignity and hope.

The Democrats and the Republicans  have promised, politically and publicly, to serve the nation for decades, but the reality is that both of them after consecutive failures, only prove that they serve the powerful economic groups that for generations have drained the economy of our nation and have left our citizens in the most precarious and fragile economic situation in the American history.

In light of this political failure, what will the future bring to the American people and coming generations? What are the expectations to live a life with dignity and hope.

Without desire to deepen into the subject I would like to mention the pillars for the growth and strengthening of our society which are essential for the development of every human being: Food, health, housing and education.

In light of the economic crisis that our nation is confronting, mainly due to the bad administration of the last two governments, still today our President Obama is neglecting the fundamental issue of providing basic food supplies for the American people, especially for our children, the future of our nation, that are the most affected in this national crisis. We need to understand that the cost of food has increased almost 50 % in many cases and in other cases up to 100% in the last years. All of this without any real increase in salaries for the fortunate ones that still have the opportunity to work, and without counting the millions of unemployed that are suffering with anguish and despair because they have no means to cover the basic necessities for their families.

In the health area, our government has approved a new health law that in reality does not favor the majority of our citizens; the truth is that the working force of our nation, which is the middle class, is the one being punished with this law.  As time has gone by, health for the inhabitants of our nation has become an unattainable luxury for the common citizens that do not count with the minimum economic means to afford the inflated costs of hospitals and medicines.

Regarding housing, it is a common knowledge that more than 1 million people will lose their homes this year, again as a consequence of the economic crisis provoked by the bad administration of our national resources. Under these conditions it will be even more difficult to survive.

Regarding education, consider that every human being requires the minimum conditions to develop, like been properly feed and live in the  proper environment to have good health and a decent place to live in order to facilitate a good education. All these aspects are basic and essential for a good educative and professional formation.

I would like to mention that due to the reduction in the Budget, courses that are in the annual school system are being eliminated, as well as many educational centers are starting to reduce the number of teachers and personnel because they claim don’t have enough economic resources.

All the aspects mentioned are fundamental for any society to develop properly and it is very sad to see our nation that has always been the world’s example, submerge in this deep economic, social, moral and cultural crisis. We ask ourselves, what is our future, where we are heading if the leaders elected have not provided any real solution nor have they implemented any concrete measures to improve the quality of life in this country? Each day we see less and less opportunities for the new generations and the basic elements to live are almost inexistent. We now find ourselves in an uncertain future where our values are at high risk, values that were the fundamentals of our nation.

As an example of the lack of ethics during the year 2010 - 2014 in order to cover up the government deficiencies and the lack of decision of our government officials, they have played with the sentiments and necessities of our citizens, thinking that we do not know better, blaming the less fortunate, like the immigrants and other minorities, pretending to distract our attention from the real causes of the bad administration of our politicians who are the only ones to blame for the shortcomings that we are now facing. I wonder, why do we need to suffer and endure the consequences derived from the incapacity of our elected officials?

The true solution to the majority of our problems could be that our politicians would take real conscience that their salaries are paid by the people and should use all their time and energy to work for the benefit of all us, the people, and not for the groups that finance their electoral campaigns.

Keep always in mind that the power comes from the people and the government belongs to the people and that the President of our nation should serve every citizen without distinction of race, color or religion.

Equally, don’t ever forget that the White House represents the liberty and democracy of our nation, that was built by Afro-Americans like many of the houses and buildings were you live have been built by immigrants with or without documents, contributing to the development of this great nation.

With this I want to say that it is fundamental and an obligation that our government officials provide a worthy life to all the citizens of this great nation, without discriminating because everybody including the immigrants has contributed to the formation of our nation.

It is a lack of respect to the human intelligence and immoral to use the suffering of our people for electoral purposes, promising many things that will never be fulfilled. This is a direct treason to the voters and the nation that has believed in them and see their hopes and dreams get shattered by the unfulfilled promises.

Our nation needs Americans and Immigrants in one effort  together  to create jobs, give a better education to the children, facilities to go to Colleges / Universities and a dignity life to the old people.

Love and freedom form a fundamental duality in human life. One without the other soon becomes a disaster, as would be night without the day. The most important is respect the life, and every day we won’t do what is right is a day we are lose an option to protect our family, community and world.

In our nation we must require that all the citizens supervise the measures and actions taken by our elected officials and the government in general,  that way we will prevent our nation from heading toward the cliff, reason why I repeat the question “ Were are we heading?”

Paul Chehade - Ebola virus in the United States of America.

The government has been incompetent in the face of the Ebola threat. But our other institutions are dropping the ball too by Paul Chehade.

What inexcusable incompetence. The fact that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention allowed a nurse who had cared for an Ebola patient to board a commercial airplane despite a 99.5-degree fever is shocking. All that was needed was common sense.

We in the United States have protocols for everything but the problem is who know and respect them?

Containing Ebola means setting and enforcing strict protocols. Just one weak link in the chain is a recipe for disaster. So administrators need to be vigilant in their hiring, training and supervision of health care workers, to ensure that patients.

America's Ebola Panic.

What's wrong with news articles and cable-news segments that caution against Ebola hysteria by telling the truth? Two things: First, the non-stop harping about people overreacting to Ebola is turning into another form of overreaction. Second, the coverage of Americans freaking out about the disease, might, ironically, make widespread panic more likely.

Ebola has been making headlines since March when an outbreak of the rare, but deadly, hemorrhagic disease began in Guinea.

Earlier this year, two American aid workers, Dr. Kent Brantly and missionary Nancy Writebol, who contracted the virus overseas have been transferred to Emory University's hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, for treatment. Both have received doses of an experimental serum to help fight the disease, which has no known cure.

How Ebola is transmitted?

Ebola is transmitted through the bodily fluids of an infected person. So it's much harder to contract than the common cold or influenza, Dr. Schaffner said. "People from West Africa can be brought into the United States. If they are healthy, they don't put anybody at risk," he said. "It's when they become sick that [they're contagious." Although, he continued, Ebola transmission requires fairly intimate contact with someone — you must swap bodily fluids for the virus to transmit.

True Ebola symptoms.

There's a misconception that Ebola causes victims to bleed from every orifice in their body, including their pores.

The reality is that only some late-stage patients bleed externally, sometimes from the eyes, nose, ears, mouth and rectum, and internally as well, according to the National Institutes of Health. But this only happens in about 41 percent of patients, according to a study in the wake of the 1995 Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo — and it's not correlated with death or survival.

Bodily secretions such as blood, salvia and semen are how the virus transmits person to person. In Africa, viral spread has also been recorded through the handling of infected animals, including chimpanzees, gorillas, fruit bats, monkeys, forest antelope and porcupines found ill or dead or in the rainforest, according to the World Health Organization.

How common is Ebola?

Ebola   for all its horrifying complication and mystery — is well known around the world. But it is also relatively rare.

How common is Ebola?

There are five known types of the virus, three that have been associated with large human outbreaks. Zaire ebolavirus (EBOV) is the strain currently devastating West Africa — though this outbreak marks the first appearance of a new, perhaps particularly tough to treat strain of EBOV, according to a preliminary report published in the New England Journal of Medicine.

Two strains of Ebola, Tai Forest ebolavirus and Reston ebolavirus, can infect humans, but have not been associated with human disease outbreaks to date.

Fighting Ebola.

No cure or vaccine exists for Ebola. There aren't even any specific treatments for the disease, though typically patients are given intravenous hydration and electrolytes

Patients can remain infected — and perhaps contagious — for an unknown amount of time.

The Ebola's virus is mysterious.

Fruit bats are believed to be the natural reservoir of the virus reinforcing the idea that more research and prevention guidelines are needed.

Medical care in the United States has traditionally been judged superior to that of many other developed nations.

More recently, however, public support for research and education has been reduced, while freedom from bureaucracy has yielded to onerous insurance and governmental regulation. As a result, the superiority of American medicine is waning.

God Bless America.

Paul Chehade - It's time to review the foreign policy of the United States - Islamic State ISIS.

The United States is in war with the Islamic State, also known as ISIS or ISIL consider violence be part of their ideology. For Al Qaeda, violence is a means to an ends; for ISIS, it is an end in itself.

We need to manage not just our expectations. Our rhetoric, too, matters more than we think. When we declare that we will defeat ISIS, what do we mean? What is a sufficient condition to declare victory? Unless we define that condition, we risk involving ourselves in yet another unending conflict.

The problem begin when The United State regime change policy in Syria was directly responsible for the rise of ISIS over these past three years.

The neocons who want us to get tougher on ISIS, including a US attack on Syria, are the same ones who not long ago demanded that we support groups like ISIS to overthrow the Assad government in Syria. US-trained and funded “moderates” from the Free Syrian Army joined the Islamist militias including ISIS, taking US weapons and training with them.

The people in United States and in Europe who left home to join forces with ISIS are mentally imbalanced. These people don't have religious knowledge, so their understanding is shallow and they are completely incorrect.

Most of their supporters, including European and American recruits to Syria and Iraq, will die on the battlefield, but al Qaeda's ideological sympathizers typically also turn their attention to building cells that can attack Western targets, as we have witnessed in Indonesia, Yemen and the tribal areas of Pakistan.

That Saudi Arabia is considered a suitable place to train Syria’s future leaders must be some kind of sick joke. While ISIS was beheading two American journalists – as horrific as that is – the repressive Saudi theocracy was beheading dozens of its own citizens, often for relatively minor or religious crimes.

If we want to stop radical terrorists from operating in Syria and Iraq, how about telling our ally Saudi Arabia to stop funding and training them? For that matter, how about the US government stops arming and training the various rebel groups in Syria and finally ends its 24 year US war on Iraq.

There are 200 million people bordering the countries where ISIS is currently operating. They are the ones facing the threat of ISIS activity and expansion. Let them fight their own war, rather than turning the US military into the mercenary army of wealthy Gulf states. Remember, they come over here because we are over there. So let’s not be over there any longer.

Military Tactics Against ISIS Aren't Enough, the problem is that even if you defeat these ideas militarily by killing the people, if you don't defeat the ideas intellectually, then the ideas will re-emerge.

Americans now face two conflicts in places they can’t even find on the map.

I hope the Americans understand the Jewish, Christians, and Muslim faith are based upon peace and we must respect each other independent of religion.

President Obama promised that airstrikes alone would “degrade and destroy” ISIS, but then we have got to worry about what comes next.

God Bless America.

Paul Chehade - To resolve the problem of illegal immigration, we must know the origin of the causes.

More than 11 million unauthorized immigrants living and working in our country. The legal immigration system is inadequate to meet the needs of the U.S. in the 21 st century.

We are a nation that has always drawn much of its strength from having people come here and add to the energy and prosperity of the country. The immigrants who have chosen to make the difficult and challenging choice to move to America have often been some of the most productive citizens of the countries they left behind.

People emigrate from one country to another for a variety of complex reasons. Some are forced to move, due to conflict or to escape persecution and prejudices, while others may voluntarily emigrate. Although such a move may be necessary, it can be quite traumatic on top of the challenges experienced so far.

More than 11 million unauthorized immigrants living and working in our country. The legal immigration system is inadequate to meet the needs of the U.S. in the 21 st century.

We cannot deport millions of people, most of whom are hardworking and living quiet, orderly lives. We need to deal in a humane and reasonable way with the millions of people who are already here illegally. If they have acted inappropriately while here, then we should send them back to their native lands, but obviously that would be a small number of people.

Insufficient number of visas are made available to bring to workers.
Family members who are eligible for visas must wait up to 20 years.
Wage and workplace violations by unscrupulous employers who exploit immigrants workers.
Inadequate government infrastructure is delaying the integration of immigrants who want to become U.S. citizens.

An "illegal immigration crisis" can mean only two things: Either unenforceable laws were passed, or enforcement of reasonable laws has been abandoned.

The solution to the situation we have, is legalize the million undocumented Immigrants and requiring the unauthorized immigrants residing in the U.S. to register with the government and meet eligibility criteria in order to gain legal status.

Some of the benefits:

Bringing these hard-working immigrants off the economic sidelines would generate tax revenue in just the next three years.

Registering these immigrants with background checks would ensure that we know who is here and will enable our authorities to focus enforcement resources on criminal elements and security threats instead of hard-working family members.

Bringing these immigrants out of the shadows would strike a blow to unscrupulous employers who mistreat their employees (immigrant and native-born alike) and help ensure worker safety for all.

Enabling immigrants to earn legal status and to openly participate in civic life will strengthen our communities and reduce marginalization and exploitation.

In other words, virtually everyone except exploitive employers and criminals are better off by enabling these immigrants to work above board and pay their full taxes.

It is time to push aside those in the political arena who wish to use immigration primarily as an election tool and do not seek or tolerate rational action. It is time to move forward with a policy that will make us more competitive, add to our economy and our culture and continue to lift our nation and give us the unique strength that comes from being a country built on the character of the people who immigrate here.

God Bless America.

Paul Chehade - Simple Solutions to Improve the United States Economy.

Our manufacturing is done mostly overseas because of the high cost of our services. the trade agreements must be revised. Paul Chehade.

Paul Chehade - Simple Solutions to Improve the United States Economy.

For the last decade, US has lost more than U$ 7 trillion in very bad trade negotiations. We import much more than we export and this is a fact that has been going on for years.

The country itself has a debt of over U$ 16 trillion that cannot be repaid in the next decades and we still insist in using the same system of exporting less and importing more.

Our manufacturing is done mostly overseas because of the high cost of our services. Even after improving our productivity by more than 100% in the last 12 years, our monthly salaries are too high to compete with others countries.

China for example has U$ 2.4 trillion surplus against us in only 7 years, and this number is 5 years old. Due to this gigantic deficit in trading with China, we have lost approximately 2.4 million jobs in our backyard.

Several states have felt this manufacturing exodus to China in the last decades. In California the numbers exceed 370,000 jobs lost due to this trade deficit. Texas has lost 194,000 jobs, New York 140,000 and Illinois 106,000. These are the top 4 states that lost the most jobs, but several others states have lost between 75,000 to 100,000 jobs.

Many American companies are established in China to take advantage of their low salaries. The biggest industry contributing to our trade deficit with China is computers and electronics since these devices have been imported from China everyday for years. The number is 40% or more of our deficit is due to only these devices.

Simple steps, could achieve great results!

If the United States leaves the WTO (World Trade Organization), then real tariffs could be applied to Chinese products which could immediately generate 1 million jobs here at home (this is only in the electronics and computer industry). We should not forget that this could also help us generate jobs in the manufacturing of goods, scientific and technical services. All these jobs could be created in our country almost immediately. Not having the need to manufacture products overseas, the direct result would be a high stimulation to our economy.

When we analyze the trade agreements signed in the last decades between the United States and several other countries, we will see in most of them the word "Free". This is a problem because we have so many "free trade agreements" we are in disadvantage with our "partners" that have lower salaries and outdated equipments. They can offer much better prices to us, while we cannot compete with their prices and with their local products.

NAFTA is one of the many examples where we lose money having this agreement in place. For the same product produced in the US for U$ 20 per hour, it can be manufactured in Mexico (a couple of miles away from our borders) for U$ 4 and can be shipped to the US "duty and restriction free".

After leaving WTO, the trade agreements must be revised. Our economy is not competing as it used to because we don't produce enough to compete globally, especially with those countries that we have given so many incentives to in the past.

It's necessary to understand that until we don't learn to keep our money in our pocket (in the United States) and balance our trade, we will have difficulties in growing at the speed we need to grow. Even if the United States wants to balance its trade it cannot be done. Our free trade agreements and our participation in the WTO will stop us from doing so.

Sincerely,

Paul Chehade:.

Paul Chehade - How We Can End The Poverty In America.

I propose a goal that, in order to be accomplished, returns America to prosperity by creating an economy so strong that it will enable us to end poverty in America. Paul Chehade.

It is completely outrageous that the United States of America, the richest country in the world would tolerate the number of people living in poverty in America today. The lowest percentage in poverty since we started counting was 11.1 percent in 1973. The rate climbed as high as 15.2 percent in 1983. In 2000, after a spurt of prosperity, it went back down to 11.3 percent, and yet 15 million more people are poor today.

Six million people have no income other than food stamps. Food stamps provide an income at a third of the poverty line, close to $6,300 for a family of three. It's hard to understand how they survive.

I propose a goal that, in order to be accomplished, returns America to prosperity by creating an economy so strong that it will enable us to end poverty in America. The American voters are looking for such a goal from its leadership, one that all Americans can embrace as the beginning of their new, prosperous future for them, for their children, for their grandchildren. Here is that goal: I believe that this nation should commit itself to achieving the goal before this decade is out of providing a path for all Americans who are physically or cognitively able to earn their way out of poverty, and, once out of poverty, for all Americans to be able to stay out of poverty by their own individual effort.

Rebuilding the American economy and ending poverty require the same two things:

A.- Work for Americans and American workers: legitimate work for every American who wants to earn an honest living and American workers with the skills needed for that work. The good news is that the solution that ends poverty, by its very nature, includes creating an American economy that nurtures the creativity and the hard work of all Americans so that new businesses and new jobs are created to replace businesses and jobs that are no longer viable. America must have an infrastructure that supports a populace that is continually creating new jobs and constantly being retrained for those new jobs. That is the strong economic foundation that we need.

B.- For far too long, America's solution to poverty has been giving people a fish and planting rice, figuratively speaking, rather than continually teaching them the new ways to fish and educating them so that they can be self-reliant, productive members of our society. That learning must continue throughout one's life, since gone are the days when you learned a profession and worked in it until you retire. Jobs come and go; companies come and go. America needs to be a place where everyone has the opportunity to continue to be a productive member of our great society.

Thankfully, America does not suffer from the extreme poverty found in some parts of the world, yet a large portion of our populace suffers from the inability to reach for the American dream and earn their way in the pursuit of happiness. I believe that America can do a better job of providing an infrastructure that enables our young people to get the education and learn the skills necessary to be productive members of our society. A large pool of highly-skilled, productive workers is a critical element in a vibrant, sustainable American economy.

Ending poverty means jobs for everyone who can and wants to work. Affordable healthcare is essential to ending poverty. Although "universal insurance" may sound like the simple and obvious answer, it is not a panacea. The deductibles, co-payments, and the cost of medication can send someone into poverty.

Other areas that will need review are food, housing, and financial systems. Predatory lending practices have certainly led many people back into poverty. Education will help people understand that they are being robbed; better regulation will prevent government-approved stealing from hard-working Americans trying to earn their way out of poverty. There are basic policy measures which would go a long way toward reducing the poverty rate and improving the quality of life for low-income Americans. Here are seven steps we can take to pull America out of poverty:

1. End Tax Cuts for the Wealthy:

This reform won't attack poverty directly, but it is a necessary step toward refocusing our nation's priorities. America has always strived to find a balance between reducing inequality and promoting growth, but our current policies favor the wealthy so much that our income inequality is growing and our economic growth is stunted. B. Hussein Obama excessive tax cuts for large corporations and the wealthy have not created jobs, and eliminating them would go a long way toward fighting poverty.

2. Increase Funding for Job Creation:

In this time of recession and unemployment, lawmakers are trying to decrease government spending rather than increase it, putting us at risk for a double-dip recession. The government is also missing out on opportunities to fund job-creation programs that would employ low-income people. America should repeat its stimulus success and fund job-creation programs that will give low-income people, especially youth, much-needed work opportunities.

3. Create and Preserve Affordable Housing:

Low-income Americans typically spend at least a third (and often more than half) of their income on housing, so when housing costs are high, low-income families suffer. According to the National Low-Income Housing Coalition, a family must make $38,360 to afford a two-bedroom apartment. Even though housing has such a big impact on both poverty and the U.S. economy, America is not paying enough attention to housing policy. We need to put more effort into finding solutions to the housing crisis, so that low-income families won't be overburdened with housing costs or forced to live in conditions that impede their chances for success.

4. Destigmatize Poverty:

Last but not least, we need to take a long hard look at ourselves and re-examine our stereotypes about poverty. America holds dear the promise of self-improvement and pulling ourselves up by our own bootstraps through work. The unfortunate side-effect of this idea is that we tend to disparage the poor, criticizing them for "not working hard enough." At a time when our nation's inequality is growing and a sixth of our country lives in poverty, we must realize that poverty is everyone's responsibility and we have to deal with it now.

Does ending poverty help the middle and upper classes? Yes, it will and it must. Any plan for rebuilding the American economy and ending poverty will include a plan for educating and re-educating everyone. So, after we end poverty in America, will the rest of the World's poor want to move here? No, if done right, this program will become a model for other countries that they can use to end poverty.

Paul Chehade - The moral crisis in the United States of America.

We must build bridges of hope for future generations by the way we act now. Our nation will be judged by its moral excellence in times of crisis. Paul Chehade.

Today we are faced with a crisis in our nation. Our nation faces a moment of intense pause, which cannot simply be defined in economic terms. Our crisis is one of moral ineptness in high places. We are now in the midst of a sequester - across-the-board, indiscriminate spending cuts - that results from a weakness in moral character that has led to stalemate. This stalemate is the struggle over our vision of our government's responsibility to support the most vulnerable over and against funding wealthy people and multinational corporations through tax breaks. Central to this stalemate is the question of government's responsibility to support the "least of these."

We must hold this President accountable for doing what he said he would do, while declaring to those who would push back that the people have spoken. We must move from this current model - of government of the corporations, by the powerful and elite, and for tax loopholes - to the vision of the founders, who declared that we are a government of the people, by the people, and for the people. There is enough when we are responsible to whole communities with the wealth that God has provided.

We must press for the day when elected officials will be reminded that they work for the people and not for themselves. We must build bridges of hope for future generations by the way we act now. Our nation will be judged by its moral excellence in times of crisis. Therefore, let us get busy pushing for fiscal policies that matter to the people. Let us remember that the people united will never be defeated!.

Paul Chehade, candidate for President of the United States of America in 2016.

Once again it is time to fight for the values of our country, we must not let our principles be destroyed, as proud Americans we must return to the values and foundation of our nation. Paul Chehade.

Dear Fellow Americans.

Once again it is time to fight for the values of our country, we must not let our principles be destroyed, as proud Americans we must return to the values and foundation of our nation. Yes, again it is time to battle and correct the course of our nation, we have had enough of politics and partisan privileges.

We must repeat ourselves, the hard reality is that both major parties that have controlled our country for so many presidencies continuously fail to bring prosperity and undermine our most sacred rights, the freedom to live with dignity and peace in our hearts.

Once again, it is time to do what it is best for our nation and its people and not what a handful of influential economic powers dictate for their sole benefit.

It is for this sole reason that, after consulting with my family, colleagues and friends around the country, I have decided to run again in 2016 for President of this great nation, praying to GOD for guidance and protection in this most difficult endeavor.

After my last political campaign, by now many of you know that I am not a politician. I am just a simple person like most of us that loves and cares about our country and just cannot stand our nation's unsustainable situation anymore.

My message will be the same, simple and straight forward, not like the political phrases that candidates say in their speeches when they are campaigning and then like always they not fulfill their promises. My main issue will be to once and for all unite our nation under the umbrella of our founding fathers and protect our freedom, peace and prosperity, including every American without distinction of race, creed or color, "One nation under God".

In this new campaign for 2016, our political platform will be the same, we will push for a law that protects our low income senior citizens from paying taxes on their homestead and secure that their basic needs are met.

We will again present in our platform the importance to protect the rights of our men and women in uniform, especially the ones that fought for our country to protect our rights and freedom. We will guarantee that at their return, they will have secure jobs and their families will be guaranteed that their basic needs will be covered.

Sadly the present healthcare system and the one our government is trying to implement is not the solution for so many reasons that I will need a whole book to explain. We need to find a solution to the healthcare problem in America without punishing and damaging free enterprise. We need to find avenues to provide free insurance to the low income people and reasonable and affordable insurance premium for the rest of the population, but never impose a law that will restrict the right of choice of each individual.

We all know that the basis of our nation is made of honest and hard working immigrants, for that purpose we must impose hard laws that cannot tolerate discrimination in any form.

A very sensible issue and a mayor problems of our nation is illegal immigrants, we should abide by the law, but at the same time we should contemplate the possibility of legalizing all these immigrants so they can start contributing to this country by paying taxes like all of us and by spending and investing their money in our country and secure our frontiers with a effective system to detain future infiltrations. We need and we must implement a new solid and secure system to protect our borders and one option could be using the expertise of our armed forces to avoid the immigration problem in the future.

Each day that goes by shows us again and again the importance of reviewing our position and commitments in the International arena and in my view it is essential to start giving priority to our American Continent. I believe it is very important to strengthen the relationship with our American neighboring countries and work in unity for a better future of our Continent.

Our American Continent is so exceptional and rich that we have at the reach of our hands all the major resources that we need for today and future generations. We must built special preferences and give priority to all the products "Made In America" and rebuild the manufacturing industry that will give jobs and security to our people.

Again and more significantly, we need to address the rampant spending that started decades ago, but that has skyrocketed in the in the last two administrations pushing our nation to the brink of collapse. Our deficit is a cancer destroying our nation from within.

My last campaign question still stands. How confident are you, the common citizen, in our nation's future with the current trend of economic and International policies?

In 2016 we will have another opportunity to save our nation. I ask again to all Americans with solid values that love this country, like I do, to help me restore the faith and principles of our founder fathers and return this nation to be admired again as a great nation.

God Bless America.
